One of my most favourite sweaters I have ever purchased. I’ve had it for a while now, bought it for myself last Christmas. It’s 100% cashmere and makes me feel like a lady bug. Anyways if you haven’t heard of the Chauncey line before it’s an amazing knitwear line from Brussels. The designer worked with Hermes, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Salvatore Ferragamo. I paired it with the H&M Conscious Collection mint shorts made of organic cotton. Probably the only thing close to pastel-anything I picked up for the season but definitely a colour that’s easy to wear with every shade of grey I have in my closet!

Jace and I meant to shoot for a while but the weather definitely hasn’t been on our side nor was our schedule perfectly matching up but we were finally able to get that all together. We had a whole day to do whatever we wanted which was fun. Wearing stripes always reminds me of the Prada spring/summer 2011 collection but this sweater is four years old and I still adore it.

The whole entire month of June has been completely miserable. In terms of everything – the most exciting thing that has happened was my recent acquire of the Givenchy pre-fall collection shark t-shirt. It makes my heart melt. I can’t wait to get a hold of the rest of my “wants” from the collection. You’ll see a post of it soon! Did I also mention I got a pair of running shoes? Yeah I did. Time to get somewhat fit.

Being sick sucks. I was supposed to have a pleasant spa day with my sister at Spa Utopia on Saturday, instead I felt like complete crap the whole entire time I was there. The company of my sister was great and the spa was beautiful but when you’re feeling like shat, all that seems to be set aside. The weather was perfect too and it was so hard to enjoy that as well! Oh well, I got to rest up that evening/night and all day Sunday so I’m feeling just a tad bit better.

Stripe on stripe on stripe on stripe in black, white, grey, black, white, grey, black, white, grey. I normally hate clashing print’s like plaid on camo or some mess like that which I witnessed earlier today but playing with stripes I think is okay. Just don’t get crazy. Okay, I just don’t go crazy with it but you can. I thought it would be fun to play around with a subtle vertical stripes with horizontal stripes with the top. You can hardly tell but it’s secretly fun for me.

I’ve been a tad naughty and purchased a Givenchy tee. Sigh. So much for saving money!

The drastic change in weather from sunny, warm and almost humid to cloudy, wet and chilly has really gotten to me. So basically now I’m pretty sure I’m getting sick. Haven’t been feeling 100% and my throat is sore. Uggggh but whatever I guess. On my days off I’ve been feeling a bit lazy to do my hair even though it takes less than a minute. So here it is folks, a quick blow dry and some wax. I’ll just say, the wax could not control my hurr. It’s been a while since I’ve had these Lanvin high tops in my closet but I finally got to shoot it. It’s a super early birthday gift from my sister. I know, she’s the best. A little bit sportier than usual for me but I think that’s the fun of it. It’s good to give your wardrobe a twist and just stepping out of the realm of what seems to be a usual thing you would buy or purchase. My sister definitely did a great job of picking these out for me!

I also recently purchased this amazing Burberry Prorsum t-shirt. I’ll post that up for you guys next time. Anyways, time to drug myself up with Neocitron and Tylenol!

I think the city of Vancouver definitely lucked out for the past week and a half or so! The weather has been exceptionally amazing – clear skies and sunshine, I honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. Because of the weather being so great, I’ve been out trying to soak as much sunshine as I can so that’s my amazing excuse of why I’ve been so slow to post. Who can blame me?

Here’s an outfit of me embracing my inner “dude”. A fitted cap and sleeveless hoodie combo – who would’ve thought? I’ve always been slightly anti-sleeveless hoodies but I think with the right combo I can definitely deal with it. I don’t know what made me give into this hoodie but it’s pretty great. The cotton also feels pretty nice. Away from the hat, I think this purchase of the Wings+Horns x Ace Hotel hoodie surprised my friends as well as it’s not something I would normally pick out but that’s the whole evolution of one’s closet I feel like.

People who are too rude to say “Hello” back when you greet them can seriously shove it. I cannot stand disrespectful people. Sure enough, I don’t consider everyone my friend but have the decency to be polite.

Do I look like I care? Ya I do because it’s my Birthday, bitches. Well it kind of seems like I don’t because I haven’t really been posting but I’m still out there. Been caught up in a whirl wind of things and I kind of, don’t really, have time to sit on my little netbook to type away things but I’m still there. It’s been summer on and off here in Vancouver. When it’s been dead hot sunny, I like to whip out my little denim short shorts and roll around in the sunshine. Though, this whole entire outfit makes me feel like a little boy prostitute. I’m not going to lie.

Had a little stay-cation, enjoyed myself, did a lot of catch up and went on a dandy trip to Seattle with my best girls. Five of us (missing two), sitting in a car, driving down south is very dangerous. A whole lot of laughter, tears of joy and blasting music… you know… Some Nicki Minaj all up in this bitch! Got stuck a bit at the border crossing but amazing. when we got over. Some sexy border guards on the way there and back. Did some shopping, good sales, the dollar is high, why not? Got me a sexy hooded leather jacket from All Saints. You’ll witness all that for the fall soon enough.

Anyways, I’m going to enjoy my Birthday now!
